What people want now is a custom look radiating not utility but “joy and tranquility,” as San Diego-based designer Tatiana Machado-Rosas recently told the trade publication Kitchen & Bath Design News — “a personal retreat with a spa-like atmosphere where they can truly relax.”
Oh, and one that will also, of course, increase the value of their homes.
